From the department of rumors

A source tells me that exit polls show McDonnell carrying Virginia by 10 percentage points, while in New Jersey, Corzine and Christie are shown to be deadlocked at 46 percent.

For what it's worth.

UPDATE: McDonnell is the winner in Virginia, along with the rest of his ticket. Right now, he's up by 20 percentage points with about half the vote counted. In Virginia, as we saw with George Allen three years ago, the back half of the vote count tends to favor the Democrats. But there's no question that McDonnell is going to win big.

JOHN adds: 60/40?! That's where it stands at the moment, with over 90% of precincts reporting. Even if Deeds picks up a bit in the last 10%, it's a blowout of remarkable proportions.
